Fantastic!
Now can we please get a website that looks this good that is all about marketing the city to people who may want to live here?

Seems like Hanover missed the dealine to be on this site..what a shame..
There shouldn't be a deadline though.
The city is constantly growing and changing. I wonder if the city has a full time web team.
The website is funded by a grant from... (drumroll, please...) The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority!
Ok? Now once they're here where they gonna live? My couch is booked full until April 2011.
Don't you think we otta check em out for financial viability and make sure they have jobs when they come here. We don' want any more riffraff in Woosta. Gotta enough folks on the dole.
Hey a thought. Turn the Auditorium into a bunk house and rent out beds by the hour.
Will=Possibly the quickest jaded Worcesterite in the history of Worcesterites.
What happened to those few awesome posts when you first started your blog about the asian market on Green St and stuff like that?
The blog started strong with a good attitude brother!
he died when the Asian market died and we got overtaken by Asian Beetles..
Boston gets nice markets and Worcester get nasty beetles:>)
speaking of the Beatles..I have an event on the Charles River next week "Twist & Shout on the Charles River" wih the band BeetleJuice performing..Brad Delp of th band "Boston" used to front before he passed away in 2007-great cat..even with a new frontman they are incredible and highly recommend checking out sometime..I am sold out at 2000 folks and did so 3 monhs in advance of the event they are that good:>)
Hey wait a second Gabe!
You're teasing me about sarcasm and you're the one sticking labels like: "city governments head up it's own ass" on this posting. You're a real character.
But you have a front row seat to all that nonsense at city hall eh?
By the way I prefer, Worcestertonian.
Will, City Hall deserves no type of mercy or positive thought. They are trying but not doing a very good job at all. Especially when it comes to web presence.
Hey Paulie do you have a site with your events?
We'd like to see it.
www.baevents.com
the BA stands for"Big Ass"
funded solely by me
Pretty pictures, but hardly any people in most of them...
after spending a good chunk of Labor Day weekend in Worcester but one fulll day in Boston...it is clear that Worceser is a destination for only those like the New Yorkahs that moved in next door and most likely will only reside there for a few monhs!
I spent all day Saturday and early evening at the Science Museum and the North End...the museum was jammed and we had to walk down the street cause he sidewalks were so crowded in the North End..came back early Saturday night to attend the Emerald Isle Music Festival on Millbury Street...maybe 20 folks there at 10:30PM...yes 20!
Spent all day Sunday there and maybe 30 in attendance - killah bands all weekend! We took a break and walked ovah to Block 5 at 5:30PM on Sunday...4 of us on the patio and one couple inside..
I made a real attempt to support this music festival that the Emerald Isle did a fab job on..it is really to bad so few attended (I hear 100 were there on Friday-I had that many in staff on Thursday at my Beatles theme event on the Charles Rivah Thursday).....destination Worcester is not folks!! And this is really to bad cause that music festival I attended this weekend was great stuff!!
